Designed for the courageous practitioner who is ready to go deeper and farther than Asana alone.
Our 300 Hour Yoga Training Program is more than just information. It is an online platform that provides support, community, collaboration, application, experience, growth, mentorship, and accountability in addition to information.
The 300 Hour Intensive Training is unlike any other training in the Yoga Industry. It is an in-depth exploration of Yoga as a path of personal commitment and study and not just a reiteration of your 200 Hour experience.
Through this program, we unfold the science and philosophy of Tantric Yoga practice through physical discipline, self-inquiry, meditative process, and action in the world.
At the completion of this training, you will have the tools that enable you to deepen your personal practice as well as revolutionize your approach to sharing Yoga in the world.
The foundation of our Program is the philosophical system of Sri Vidya Tantra, explored in depth through the Koshas. We place Yoga at the center of our experience in all ways and strive to bridge the gap between our practice on the mat and living our lives.
In this 300-hour, fully-online Tantra Yoga Training Program, we are a community that is learning, exploring, and growing together. The tools we offer are meant to enhance your life amidst all of the challenges and overwhelm, and provide the skills to access your personal power that support you in being of service to the bigger world. We do not encourage esoteric information over lived experience, and we do not espouse a system of love and light that bypasses conflict or difficulty.
Instead, we support you through the process of learning, growing, and expanding as you begin to apply and integrate these tools into the life YOU are living just as it is.
Vira Bhava Yoga School provides a full spectrum integrative Yoga experience that exceeds Yoga Alliance (YA) standards.
This program is designed around the structure of the Five Koshas. Each of our 5 online modules will explore one of the Koshas in-depth, drawing on physical practice, pranic exploration, and Tantric philosophy. We will explore the significance and subtle aspects of each Kosha and its relevance to an empowered practice of Yoga.
Here’s what you’ll find inside the 300-hour course:
On-demand videos
During this 8-month Online Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive access to 100+ hours of pre-recorded video lectures from lead teachers and guest faculty, as well as practices & resources to support the work we will do together during our live, interactive sessions.
Our online training modules are delivered on an established timeline, giving you both the flexibility to adapt to your schedule, and the structure needed for a fully integrative learning experience, so you can graduate with the confidence & authority needed to teach others.
Enrollment in this training grants you lifetime access to all course materials.
Live and Interactive Sessions
The work we do in this 8-month course is profound and deeply personal. Because of this, we would never ask you to go it alone. Throughout your training, you will meet with your cohort & lead teachers for 1 day immersions twice a month via Zoom. All live sessions include practice, Satsang, lecture, discussion, and the support to bring what you’re learning to life in an engaged and nurturing community of your peers.
This 8-month program includes a total of 2 Sundays each month for 8 months (Oct-May). All live sessions will be recorded & made available to all participants.
One-On-One Mentorship
Yoga is a solo practice, but you can’t do it alone.
Every Vira Bhava Yoga student is paired with a mentor for the duration of their Yoga training course. All of our mentors are Yoga teachers & graduates of our program(s) who provide students with support & encouragement as they move through this work.
Our mentor program increases opportunities for students in training to connect with Yoga teachers & students within the broader Yoga community, and to receive guidance, feedback, and support as they begin to enter the world of deeper personal practice and commitment to study. Students are encouraged to meet with their mentors (over the phone or via Zoom) once a month for the duration of their training.
Peer Accountability Partners
Staying on track with peer accountability.
When we say you don’t have to do this alone, we mean it. During opening weekend, students will be matched with a peer accountability partner from their cohort group. Throughout the training, you’ll be asked to connect regularly with your partner to check in about coursework, personal practice, life practice, and to simply help one another process the content in real-time.
One of the most valuable aspects of this training, we hear time and again that connecting in this way over the course of our 8-month program not only helps students succeed in their coursework but leaves them with life-long friends or (dare we say) even family.
In their own words…
